Orca Whale Captivity
The question of whether the most social, intelligent and charismatic animals on the planet should be kept in captivity by human beings has been asked more frequently than ever by scientists and animal welfare advocates. There is something fundamentally unethical about capturing whales and dolphins from the wild and putting them in concrete tanks for the education, but chiefly the amusement of human beings.
